the Eye of Wisdom and Knowledge in the Hindu tradition. It leads one to inner realms housing myriad spaces of consciousness. It is located on the your forehead between your two brows.
- Follow your breath in and out. Think of the syllable “So” while inhaling and exhale thinking of the syllable “Hum.”
- Try this for 5 minutes. Then you can lie on your back maintaining the focus on your third eye and continuing the So-Hum.
- You can also chant any hymns, name of god, or any Mantras if you know. This is said reduce the anxiety and fear that can interfere with normal sleeping habits.
- If you wake in the night again, do not worry, just repeat the exercise and meditate to sleep again.
