8 Ways to Beat Jet Lag

  1. Stretch your limbs while being seated to avoid stiff joints and cramped muscles.
  2. Walk around the cabin during your flight.
  3. Chew gum to avoid build up of pressure in your ears.
  4. Avoid consumption of alcohol or coffee before or during your flight.
  5. Be well rested before you leave.
  6. Estimate what time you will reach the destination so that you can rest appropriately while traveling.
  7. Eliminate stress and anxiety as much as possible from your journey.
  8. Even if you reach your destination in the morning, do not nap at the daytime. Sleep directly at night.
