For sufferers of insomnia it is important to know why it comes about. Often it is because of lack of relaxation. There is one cure that brings about relaxation very easily. This is hypnosis. How can insomnia hypnosis help with insomnia?
Reasons for insomnia
Often there is no clear medical reason to why people cannot get enough sleep. For some people it comes easier and for some it is not so easy. Some need the condition to be just right when going to sleep. You might have to have total quiet, comfort and darkness. If these conditions are not met, you get into a situation where sleep does not come. The most important thing is to be able to relax.
How does a person fall asleep?
You get to sleep by going through four stages:
• Thinking: In this stage you reflect on the past day
• Fantasy: You start to visualize scenarios that will relax you
• Hypnoidal: This is a light hypnotic state where the mind and body release tension
• Unconscious sleep: Here full sleep is achieved
How does hypnosis work?
Hypnosis works by relaxing your body in order to get it to a state of unconsciousness. Therefore, we essentially hypnotize ourselves to sleep every time we go to sleep.
How to hypnotize yourself
In order to get to the hypnotic state that is required for sleep you can hypnotize yourself. This can be done by emptying your mind with all that increases tension. Then you need to get your muscles relaxed. This is achieved by alternately tensing and relaxing each muscle. Then you can start to think about something that will relax you. This can be done by fantasizing about some experience, where you were really relaxed. You can also repeat words, which you find relaxing.
In addition, it is good to concentrate on your breathing. This is important to self hypnosis. You can take a deep breath in order to give your body oxygen, which it needs to enter a state of relaxation.
These techniques should be helpful if you find it difficult to fall asleep. Try insomnia hypnosis to know how it works for you.
